Privacy Policy

At Reaksi, we consider the privacy of our visitors to be extremely important. This privacy policy document describes in detail the types of personal information is collected and recorded by Reaksi and how we use it.

What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it

Comment

When a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data displayed on the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.

An anonymous string generated from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Gravatar’s service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to a website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from the images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you have an account and are logged into this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. These cookies do not store any personal data and are discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will set up several cookies to store your login information and the display you choose. Login cookies are valid for two days, and display settings cookies are valid for one year. If you select “Remind Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data and only shows the post ID of the article you have recently edited. Expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as visitors visiting other websites. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed trackers from third parties, and monitor your interaction with embedded content, including using them to track your interactions if you have an account and are logged into the website.

Analytic

Like many other Web sites, Reaksi makes use of log files. These files only log visitors to the site with standard procedures for hosting companies and part of hosting service analysis. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any personally identifiable information. Google Analytics as our analytics vendor, collects information about how visitors use our site. We use this information to compile reports and help us improve the site. Cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors came to the site and the pages they visited.
